Demon Hunter
Abilities
Driven by revenge, the Demon Hunter has many tools at her disposal, including ranged weapons, traps, and shadow magic. But itβs all for a single goal: destroy demons, and their plans, at any cost.
Primary Attacks
Crossbow Shot - Shoot an arrow for variable damage while moving at reduced speed.
Explosive Arrow - Shoot an arrow that explodes on impact for damage to the target and less damage to all nearby enemies.
Skills
Daring Swing - Use a rope to swing to a nearby location, dealing damage to the enemies on the way while they cannot attack you. Maximum 2 charges.
Escape - Jab your blade forward to deal damage and inflict 60% reduced Movement Speed for 4 seconds, while tumbling backward to escape.
Impale - Rapidly throw knives in a direction, continually dealing damage to all enemies caught in the barrage. Using Impale slowly consumes its energy, which recovers while Impale is not in use. Aim can be adjusted while channeling.
Knife Trap - Place a Knife Trap that arms and becomes invisible after 1.4 seconds, and then explodes when an enemy approaches, shooting knives that deal damage to all nearby enemies. You can have up to 3 traps at one time, but they cannot be placed to overlap each other. Maximum 3 charges.
Knockback Shot - Fire a bolt of shadowy energy that deals damage and knocks enemies away. Enemies knocked into obstacles will be Stunned for 4 seconds.
Multishot - Fire a volley of piercing arrows that deal damage. Maximum 3 charges.
Rain of Vengeance - Fire a massive volley of arrows into the air that rain down for several seconds, dealing damage to all enemies in the area over 4 seconds.
Sentry - Summon a turret for 30 seconds that fires at nearby enemies for damage per shot. You may have up to 2 sentries at one time. Maximum 2 charges.
Shadowsight - Immediately reveal all Bosses, Treasure Goblins, Elite Monsters, and enemy players within 90 yards of you on the minimap and increase the Movement Speed of yourself and nearby allies by 20% for 12 seconds.
Smoke Screen - Create a cloud of thick smoke at your location, concealing you and nearby allied players for 2.5 seconds.
Spinning Chakram - Launch a spinning Chakram that deals damage to all enemies in its path, and then deals less damage on its return path. Catching the Chakram on its return path will reset its cooldown, but no more than 3 times every 12 seconds.
Strafe - Spin rapidly while moving at reduced speed, shooting in all directions and dealing damage. Damage reduced when enemies are struck multiple times. Using this ability slowly consumes its energy, which recovers while the ability is not in use.
Vengeance - Active: Transform into the physical embodiment of Vengeance for 6 seconds, causing every Primary Attack to launch 2 additional shots for damage each. Passive: Gain 3% increased Movement Speed for each nearby enemy stacking up to 10 times.
Features
Demon Hunters are the game's bow archetype class. They excel at ranged damage dealing with both good AoE and single target options.
Demon Hunters use One-Handed Bows in both their weapon slot and their off-hand slot. When Legendary items drop, both types are labeled as "One-Handed Bow" when they drop. Bows for the weapon slot do significantly more damage than those in the offhand slot, and cannot be equipped there.
In PvP, the Demon Hunter has an innate 15% reduction of incoming damage from enemy players.
